Is Your Organization Grant Ready?

Congratulations! You’ve finally received your not-for-profit designation and you’ve introduced your amazing program to your community, but you’re facing a major roadblock: a lack of financial resources. The first avenue most organizations think to turn to is grant funding, but some aren’t sure where to begin.

There are many non-profits who reach out to me for assistance with obtaining grants, and my first question to them is always “Is your organization ready to receive a grant?” Most times people look as if I’ve offended them, but after hearing the follow-up questions they realize that they are not as prepared as they believed they were.
